“Welcome. Sit anywhere that isn’t smouldering.” says Unclegrumble, founder of HomunculAI Systems Ltd and your teacher at the Warlock School of Warcrafting.

“I’ll be by the door, mostly.” says Flinch, his assistant.

What you will be able to do

  • Pick the right demon to hold the line
  • Keep enemies on your voidwalker with Suffering and Consuming Shadows
  • Open a fight so the voidwalker takes the first hit
  • Finish a fight and stay alive with Corruption and Drain Life
  • Win a real fight against one enemy, then two

Who it is for

  • Warlocks on Retail World of Warcraft (Midnight), level 12 or over

Playing Warcraft Forever?

Warcraft Forever follows the Classic game, set in the Before. There you earn the voidwalker through a quest, soul shards are stones in your bag, the voidwalker taunts differently and can give its life to shield you, and you still have Health Funnel. Check your own spellbook as you go.

What you need

  • A warlock of level 12 or over
  • Your voidwalker (from level 10), with Suffering (from level 12)
  • Corruption, Shadow Bolt, Drain Life and Unending Resolve, which you will have by then

How it works

  • Nine pages, about an hour in all
  • Two pages have a practice choice: tap an answer to see what happens. They are never scored
  • Then the assessment: four multiple-choice questions, one short written answer, and a real fight in the game
  • You pass with 75% on the questions and a pass on the fight

At the end

  • You get one go at the assessment
  • Your written answer is marked quickly. Unclegrumble checks your fight himself, so that part of your result may take a little while
  • A pass earns a certificate and one hour of CPD from the Warlock School of Warcrafting

Key point

Work through the pages in order. The assessment only asks about what they teach.
